Now that 2011 is about to finish, time has come to take stock of what has been a remarkable year. New contracts, new training programs and new staff members joining the Development Office are some examples of achievements. Surely in 2012 the Office will continue ‘working with Europe’, thus working with you.
Even in the face of dwindling stocks and soaring prices, we have been inspired by the loyalty of our partners and the interest and trust shown by the participants of our training activities. Without them we would not have been able to conclude this year with such amazing results. EU Negotiations in Practice – Getting ready for EU Accession!
From 10 to 14 October 2011, the Development Office of the College of Europe organised a one-week training programme on EU Negotiations. In this hands-on workshop, a group of 17 participants learnt the principles and practice of EU decision-making and simulated a tailor-made exercise on Accession Negotiations.
Preparing EU neighbours for jobs related to the European Union
From 28 to 30 November, the Development Office of the College of Europe organised the first training seminar in the framework of the ENP regional project "Preparing staff for EU-ENP related jobs", on EU Institutions and EU decision-making process for 36 public administration officials coming from various ENP countries.

Supporting International Relations in Armenia
In the framework of a contract with the EU Delegation in Yerevan, the Development Office of the College of Europe is assisting the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia in the organisation of their curriculum.
